The invention relates to a catalytic material as tapes and to the process for preparing the same, employed in the catalysis of the oxidation or hydrogenation reactions for the conversion of polluting industrial gaseous noxious substances. The claimed catalytic material as tapes comprises Ni and Zr, in a Ni:Zr atomic ratio of 55-60:45-40 and has a nanocrystalline structure with crystalline grain sizes of less than 50 nm. The claimed process for preparing the catalytic material is based on the technique of quick in-melt cooling on a rotating disk and is characterized in that the disk speed ranges from 35 to 40 m/s, the cooling is conducted in a He atmosphere, at a pressure ranging from 200 to 1013 mbar, the treatment consisting in etching the material in diluted hydrogen fluoride solution having concentrations ranging from 2.5 to 3.5%, air oxidizing the same at temperatures from 500 to 600A C for 4-5 hours, and reduction in H2 current, at temperatures ranging from 350 to 400A C, for 3-4 hours.
|
