The present invention relates to granules of powdery mineral particles and to a method for production such granules by spray granulation of a liquid slurry comprising powdery minerals particles having particle size below 10 μm, at least one water-reducing agent selected among naphthalene-sulphonates, ligno- sulphonates, melanines, acrylic polymers and hexameter phosphates, at least one binder agent selected among ammonium ligno sulphonate, dextran, sugar, polymethacrylates, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene, metakaolin, water-glass, hexameter phosphates, ligno-sulphonates and naphthalene-sulphonates and/or at least one dispersing agent selected among sodium capryloiminodipropionat, tridesyl alcohol etoksilat, alkylnaphtalensulphonate sodium salt, hexameter phosphates, ligno-sulphonates, acrylic polymers, melanines and naphthalene-sulphonates. The total amount of additives in the liquid slurry is between 0.05 and 1.5 % by weight based on the weight of manganomanganic oxide and the granules have a water content of between 0.1 and 0.5% by weight. |
