Provided is a holder for holding rod-shaped members of mixed kinds of directivity in a common direction and at an equal interval. When a plurality of needle-shaped extremely thin tools (A) arranged to have their one-end sharp tips (1a) and other-end blunt tips (1b) mixed are directionally rearranged and held, elastic members (12) are individually arranged on the two longitudinal end sides and are brought so closer to each other that the sharp tips (1a) pierce the elastic members (12). After this, these elastic members (12) are separated to divide the needle-shaped extremely thin tools. The elastic members are directionally rearranged by separating the needle-shaped extremely thin tools from the elastic members. Then, the needle-shaped extremely thin tools are fed to jigs (13) thereby to set their intervals to a predetermined value. The holder (20) is arranged to confront the sharp tips protruding from the jigs. These jigs (13) and the holder (20) are brought so close to each other as to pierce each other so that the needle-shaped extremely thin tools are held to have the sharp tips (1a) and the blunt tips (1b) arranged in the holder.
