<p>A hockey stick having an angled shaft extension comprises an elongate shaft having an upper end and a lower end and defining a shaft longitudinal axis, and is graspable by a hockey player. The upper end has a substantially hollow central portion. A blade is securely connected to the elongate shaft at its lower end and is for contacting a hockey puck. A shaft extension has a grippable portion having a lower end and an upper end, and defining a grip longitudinal axis extending between the lower end and the upper end, and an insert portion securely connected to the grippable portion at the lower end thereof. The insert portion is insertable into the substantially hollow central portion of the upper end of the elongate shaft, to thereby securely connect the shaft extension to the elongate shaft such that the grip longitudinal axis is angled below the shaft longitudinal axis.</p> |
