FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining bemite powder material. Method includes following operations: use of bemite precursor and bemite primer in suspension, in which weight ratio of bemite precursor to bemite primer constitutes not less than 60:40, and thermal processing of suspension at temperature higher than 120°C in order to convert bemite precursor into bemite powder material, containing particles of mainly lamellar form, which have form coefficient not less than 3:1, and secondary form coefficient not less than 3:1. ^ EFFECT: creation of material, which can be used as abrasive, filler in products with special coating and in various polymer products. ^ 12 cl, 4 dwg, 4 ex
