FIELD: chemistry; distillation industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to the distillation industry. The method involves obtaining ethanol through boiling out alcohol from a brew in a distillation column. The wash distillate is cleaned from head and intermediate impurities, including fusel oil components, in a hydro-selective epuration column. Fractional distillation of the epurate is carried out in an alcohol column with tapping off of the fusel oil fraction, fusel alcohol fraction and unpasteurised alcohol. Distillation of the fractions of head impurities and intermediate impurities of ethanol is carried out in a distillation column. Further purification of alcohol from head impurities and methanol is carried out in a column for concentrating head impurities. Further purification of the epurate from tail impurities is carried out in an additional stripping column with tapping off distilled water from its boiler and from lower intermediate impurities, with tapping off a fraction from the vapour phase of plates in the middle part of that column. Ethanol is further purified from organic acids and other tail impurities with tapping off distilled water from the boiler of the distillation column. The ethanol fraction is extracted from the liquid phase of plates in the middle zone of the extraction part of that column and returned to the initial brew. Unpasteurised alcohol and a fraction from alcohol-traps of pure distillate are directed to feed plates of the column for concentrating head impurities. The concentrate is tapped off from the condenser of that column, and from its boiler section, a fraction is extracted and directed to the feed plates of the alcohol column or to a transfer tank. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of alcohol and increased alcohol output. ^ 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 2 ex |
