System for automatic detection of presence of train within railway line detection zone or for monitoring of railway lines (102) related to railway crossing contains first block (610) of transmitter transmitting detection signal, with receiver (615) receiving one or more signals. Processor (604) connected to receiver block is configured to process received signals and to detect presence, absence or movement of train or signal within railway line detection or monitoring zone. Processor (604) is configured to secure possibility of initializing act when it determines presence of train or receives detection signal(s). Invention also refers to method of automatic detection of train presence within monitoring zone related to railway crossing where road crosses railway line on same level. ^ EFFECT: earlier detection of trains approaching detection zone of railway crossing, crossing that zone, staying within its limits and leaving it excluding all other possible signals and noise. ^ 10 cl, 7 dwg |
