FIELD: mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to rock destructing tools, particularly to packing elements and can be implemented in drilling bits, reamers and calibrators. The support of the roller cutting rock destructing tool consists of a journal, of a roller cutter secured to the latter by means of a retaining bearing and of a packing element installed between the cutter tool and the journal. Also the packing element has cross section in form of half-circle oriented with its open part to the side of the journal end. Two spring split rings of different diameters are installed in the cavity of the packing element. Exterior diameter of the bigger split ring - DR and interior diameter of the smaller split ring- dR in a free position are determined from formula DR>DPE-delta, where DPE is the exterior diameter of the packing element, delta is thickness of the wall of a hollow packing element, dR<dPE+delta where dPE is interior diameter of the packing element. The end parts of spring rings are made in form of racks when teeth of one come into slots of another. ^ EFFECT: increased working capacity of rock destructing tool on a whole. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg |
