FIELD: construction, pipeline. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to pipeline fitting and is intended for usage in elevated temperatures and high pressure environment. Locking device contains a body frame accommodating locking element, saddle and packing units. One of the units is set in the groove in the frame. Another unit is set in the saddle groove. Grooves under packing units in the frame and in the saddle are of a trapeze - shape. Each packing unit is made as a package of packing elements consisting of: a packing metal ring, bearing ring in the form of a cup - spring and alternating between each other carbon packing rings. Metal ring is arranged on the side of the working medium and rests upon front tapered surface of the groove of the bearing ring. Section of the carbon packing rings is of an equilateral trapeze - shape. Base of the first from the bearing ring carbon packing ring rests on the moving sealing surface of the locking element and is made more solid than the following carbon packing ring resting on the cylindrical part of the groove. Total package of the packing elements is pressed by a washer or a flange with tapered front surfaces, mating with a more solid carbon packing ring and repeating contour of its lateral surface. ^ EFFECT: enhancing sealing capacity of the locking device. ^ 4 cl, 3 dwg |
