<p>An image forming apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to set and change a display mode corresponding to an operation mode, thereby changing and setting the mode according to a user's taste. An image forming apparatus comprises a main body(1000), a scanning unit(10), an operation state display unit(20), and a control unit(60). The scanning unit is moved along with the main body and obtains image data from a target to be scanned. The operation state display unit displays a location of the scanning unit. A control unit sets a display mode corresponding to an operating state comprising at least one operating mode among a plurality of operating modes. The control unit controls the operation state display unit to display the set display mode corresponding to the corresponding operating state.</p> |
