Composition (I) comprises: polymer; first- and second antioxidant; and first- and second metal deactivator, which is 2,2'-oxamidobis-[ethyl-3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate] and 2',3-bis[[3-[3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl]propionyl]]propionohydrazide, respectively, where the sum of the amount of first and second antioxidants, and first and second metal deactivators is lower than 40 (preferably lower than 20) parts by weight for 100 parts in weight of polymer in the composition. An independent claim is included for an insulated electrical conductor including electrical conductor surrounded by an insulating layer, which is obtained from (I).
