<p>The device for driving and cutting a strand of glass fibers with respect to their spread on a roadway, comprises a rotatively cutting motor roller (4) associated to a rotative pressure roller (1), and a maintenance roller in upstream of the roller. The pressure roller possesses a bimaterial structure, comprises a flexible and elastic core (10), which is surrounded of a flexible and elastic external annular part (11). The core has a shore A hardness of 65, and the external annular part has a shore A hardness of 90-95. The core and the annular part comprise complementary connection profiles. The pressure roller possesses a bimaterial structure, comprises a flexible and elastic core (10), which is surrounded of a flexible and elastic external annular part (11). The core and the annular part comprise complementary connection profiles assuring their mutual detention following an axial direction. The pressure roller is carried by a revolving lever (6) stimulated by an elastic unit such as a spring against the roller to apply the cord of fibers against the lever. The maintenance roller is stimulated by another spring against the pressure roller to pinch the cord of fibers. The pressure roller and the maintenance roller are induced by friction. The pressure roller has a drill with sealed side walls. A magnet is mounted on the hole made by the drill, and is co-operated with a magnetic sensor with respect to the control of its rotation. An independent claim is included for a movable machine for spreading fiber smithereens on a roadway.</p> |
