The module (10) has a supplementary lens (18) fixed to a heat dissipator (20). A printed circuit board (24) is provided between the dissipator and the lens. The circuit board has flexible conductive tracks that are in contact with a semi-conductor light source (22) e.g. LED. The circuit board carries the light source such that the heat produced by the light source is evacuated into the heat dissipator when the lighting module is in operation.
