The method involves collecting a part of anode output flow of a fuel cell (H) in a tampon reserve (3), and evacuating the reserve. The flow is mixed with a cathode output flow, if the cathode output flow is already mixed with output flow of a case (J). Evacuation flow of the reserve is regulated according to multiple parameters of output flow and/or operating condition of the cell and/or catalytic burner (8) so as to guaranty hydrogen concentration lesser than lower explosivity limit in the flow obtained after mixture. A part of the flow is driven after being mixed with the burner. An independent claim is also included for a device for passive securisation of a fuel cell assembly. |
