A fuel tank sight gauge of an excavator is provided to protect an electric device from flames in a fire even if installed to the outside of a fuel tank with an electric device arranged nearby. A fuel tank sight gauge of an excavator having a flame protection structure includes a flame protection structure of a flame protection material surrounding a sight gauge to protect the sight gage from flames when a battery device or an electrical junction box is on fire, wherein the flame protection structure is formed in the shape of a box which is vertically long by forming one side with the outer side of the fuel tank equipped with the sight gauge, and forming the side facing the sight gauge to be opened parallel to the outer side and forming the side toward the electrical junction box, which is the side facing the opened side, and upper and lower sides to be closed.
