A sliding structure and a multimedia apparatus using the same are provided to make the total thickness of the structure decrease or increase according to the first member and the second member are opened or closed, thereby preventing the swing of the members during the relative movement between the first member and second member. A sliding structure comprises the followings: the first member(10); the second member(20) which relatively slides to the first member; and a link member(30) which connects the first member and the second member. The whole thickness of the structure decreases or increases according to the sliding motion performed through the medium of the link member.
