A reinforcing bar support spacer is provided to be installed easily at regular intervals to arrange easily reinforcing bars at the optimum interval, to minimize the volume occupied in a reinforced concrete structure, and to install a fixing member or a hanger bolt easily at need. A reinforcing bar support spacer(10) comprises a main body(11) having support grooves on the upper part to support reinforcing bars to be arranged to restrain the movement caused by placing concrete when forming a concrete structure, and an insert(20) provided to the inside of the main body, opened at the bottom through the lower side of the main body and inserted to the inside of the main body to the appointed length along the longitudinal direction of the main body.
