REAL TIME CAMERA SYSTEM PERFORMING AUTO-FOCUS AND ZOOM

A camera system performing an auto focus adjusting function and a zoom function in real time are provided to remove a scan operation and move a lens to an optimum location to reduce an auto focus adjusting time and power consumption, and adjust zoom magnification based on distance information, thereby displaying a subject having the same size. A distance change value of a moved subject is calculated by comparing a current distance of a subject with a distance of a subject pictured at the first time(301). Zoom magnification corresponding to the distance change is selected to change zoom magnification by using the calculated distance change value(303). An AF lens location corresponding to distance change is selected to move an AF lens by using the calculated distance change value(305).
