The device (1) has a propulsion element (2) comprising a set of parts such as engine block (21), spud (22) and a propeller (23). Two half-shells (10, 11) are connected with respect to each other by a connection unit such as padlock, so as to lock the propulsion element. Each shell possesses a flat structure to adapt to the shape of the element and includes a frame of wires (113). The wires are arranged so as to block the access to the parts to disassemble the element, where the wires are covered with a sheath of plastic material and manufactured from stainless steel.
