The floor (1) has identical modular elements (2) assembled at the level of edges (21-24) and realized in the form of quadrangular panels. A connection unit (4) and locking units (8, 9) are placed in an element's lower surface or surface that is non visible in service position of the floor. The connection and locking units are cooperated with each adjacent modular element for fitting the modular elements between them in a plane of the floor and in height with respect to the plane. The connection unit has a pin cooperated with a recess.
