A concentration measuring apparatus and method are provided to read variations in red, green and blue by using a color sensor to improve measurement accuracy and achieve rapid measurement by using a white light obtained from mixture of red, green and blue lights. A concentration measuring apparatus includes a sample part(20) having a sample to be measured, a light source(10) emitting light to the sample part, a light-receiving sensor(30) for converting the light into an electric signal, a computing unit(50) for calculating the concentration of an object, and a display unit(80) for displaying the calculated concentration.
