The invention relates to an item of furniture (1) comprising at least one electric consumer and a furniture body (2), on which a cable conduit (4, 4', 20) is mounted, several interspaced feedthroughs (5) being configured in the cable conduit (4, 4', 20) to conduct electric cables (6) into the interior of the furniture body (2).
