An electro-optical device and an electronic apparatus are provided to reduce power consumption without affecting image display. A driver amplifies an inputted voltage and supplies the amplified voltage to a display panel. A scan electrode and a signal electrode are formed in one among two substrate facing each other in a liquid crystal panel(14). An LCD driver(13) is mounted in one substrate of the liquid crystal panel. An LED driver(12) drives an LED(15) in a liquid crystal device. A voltage of a battery is directly inputted to the LED driver through a connector connected to the external of a corresponding FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit). The LED driver includes a voltage regulating circuit(20).
