METHOD OF CONTROLLING UPLINK SYNCHRONIZATION STATE AT A USER EQUIPMENT IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

An uplink synchronization method for controlling a terminal of a wireless telecommunications system is provided to control the synchronization state with terminal network in a wireless communication system efficiently. Control information relating to the control of an uplink synchronization status of a user terminal(UE) is received from network. The control information is transited from the uplink synchronization status to the uplink synchronization status(S74). An uplink resource which is allocated from network is released(S75). The control information includes information indicating time alignment.
