SUSTAINED-RELEASE CHITOSAN CAPSULES COMPRISING CHITOSAN AND PHYTIC ACID

Sustained-release chitosan capsules comprising chitosan and phytic acid are provided to enhance the capsulation yield by the ion gelation of a phytic acid capable of causing the crosslinking reaction with a chitosan polymer and chitosan which are a biodegradable polymer. A manufacturing method of chitosan capsules comprises a first step for manufacturing chitosan and an active material-containing water soluble aqueous solution; a second step for manufacturing an phytic acid-containing aqueous solution; and a step for proceeding the ion gelation by contacting the aqueous solution manufactured from the first step and the aqueous solution manufactured from the second step.
