A brightness defect repair method of a display device is provided to repair the brightness defect effectively using laser beam by the color of the filter. A brightness defect repair method for a display device having a polarizer comprises following steps. If a color filter having a brightness defect is on a red area, a laser beam of 400~550nm wavelength is irradiate. If a color filter having a brightness defect is on a green area, a laser beam of 400~480nm of 600~750nm wavelength is irradiate. If a color filter having a brightness defect is on a blue area, a laser beam of 520~750nm wavelength is irradiate. |
