A paper cutting apparatus is provided to align paper to be cut with ease, remove the process of manually putting a cutter on the top of the paper, and automatically discharge paper fragments after cutting the paper. A paper cutting apparatus comprises a frame(110), an alignment guide part(120) for guiding the horizontal transfer of paper, including alignment guide blocks(121) and a moving block(122), a cutter(130) which is supported on a cutter mounting block of the frame via an elastic member, and a horizontal driving part(140) which makes the cutter cut the paper in a predetermined form. In the horizontal driving part, the reciprocation of a piston rod(142) in a pneumatic cylinder(141) is controlled by a direction conversion valve(143) installed between with a compressor(146), and the direction conversion valve is connected to the compressor by one air tube(144) and to the pneumatic cylinder by two air tubes(145). |
