A method and an apparatus for measuring rating of an on-line broadcast are provided to survey all the viewers of the on-line broadcast, thereby obtaining accurate viewing rating. Transmission information of broadcast data transmitted to a client is received(S300). Reproduction information of the broadcast data transmitted from the client is received(S302). Viewing time information of the broadcast data is calculated by using the reproduction information of the broadcast data and the transmission information of the broadcast data(S306).
