A method for preparing a health food pill is provided to allow mineral, tocopherol, etc. of natural state to be taken in a form of a food pill without the chemical treatment. A method for preparing a health food pill comprises the steps of washing chicory, brown seaweed, Salicornia herbacea L. and the seed of a melon (Cucumis Melo L.); drying them with hot wind at 60 deg.C; pulverizing them; grinding them into a size of 140 mesh; adding 3 % of maltodextrin and 1 % of bamboo salt to it to stir to the water content of 16-18 %; making a pill; drying it at 60 deg.C for 5 hours; and packaging it.
