A power line communications modem capable of displaying communications speed state with LED is provided to easily confirm a present communications speed by classifying a communications speed according to LED color. A power line communications modem capable of displaying communications speed state with LED is connected to an electrical outlet. A main body(100) includes a LED(103). The LED is installed in a surface or one side of the PLC(Power Line Communications) modem, and displays a present communications speed. A LED display control part has a processor recognizing clearly the communications speed, and receives a different data according to a speed.
