FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns agents of medical diagnostics of diseases on blood sedimentation rates (ESR). The device includes a rack with an optically transparent capillary, a source of optical radiation, the receiver of optical radiation on the basis of devices with charge connection (CCD) and electron system of transformation and logical-mathematical processing. The mentioned source is executed on the basis of the semi-conductor laser with the red radiation spectrum, located over a vessel with the investigated sample of blood so that the capillary axis is coincided with a direction of a beam of the laser. The coordination of direction of the laser beam and capillary position is provided with the special fixing device located between the radiation source and the capillary. ^ EFFECT: allows to eliminate parasitic illumination of the radiation receiver, provides rising of reliability of definition of border of plasma and blood section, simplification of design of an optical radiation source. ^ 2 dwg
