The device (10) has a connecting unit (30) connecting a sunroof to a guiding rail (20), and located at a front part of the sunroof. The connection unit has a carriage (31) provided at a lateral side of a motor vehicle, where the carriage displaces longitudinally the sunroof along the guiding rail. A carriage (32) displaces the roof vertically or in inclination with respect to a body shell structure of the vehicle based on a relative position of the carriage (31) with respect to the carriage (32).
