<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of printing processing by efficient transport. <P>SOLUTION: When a first transport part transports a first medium and a second medium in this order, if jamming of the second medium is detected, the one-side printed first medium is held in a reversing mechanism that is a second conveyance part. When it is detected that the jamming is released, the reversing mechanism transports a third medium and continuously transports the first medium.
