<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user-friendliness and performance in controlling user viewing and listening setting for sound and video image and keeping the setting when switching between fixed reception and partial reception. <P>SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiver includes a broadcast receiving and demodulating section 11 for receiving and demodulating a broadcast wave signal, a video and sound decoding section 12 for decoding the demodulated broadcast wave signal to a video signal and a sound signal, a video and sound setting control section 16 for storing video viewing and sound listening setting by means of an input device, a control section 15 for generating a control signal based on a reception state of the broadcast receiving and demodulating section 11 or a decoding state of the video and sound decoding section 12 and the information stored by the video and sound setting control section 16, and a video and sound switching section 13 for selecting independently the video signal and the sound signal in fixed reception or partial reception outputted from the video and sound decoding section 12 based on the control signal generated by the control section 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
