<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform the thermal condition of a light source when an automatic light quantity control (APC) lights up. <P>SOLUTION: This optical information radiating apparatus comprises a light-emission driving circuit 80 which includes a light-emitting device LD, a photodetector PD for detecting the emitted light quantity, and a light quantity adjusting means APC82 for adjusting the current value energized to the light-emitting device to make the emitted light quantity coincide with a reference value, and lights and energizes the light-emitting device according to a lighting signal, and a light-emission control means 15 for giving a lighting signal for optical information radiation and an adjustment lighting signal for adjustment to the circuit 80, and for giving a light quantity control indication S/H to a light quantity control means 82 simultaneously with the adjustment lighting signal, and for giving a lighting signal for temperature adjustment having a setup time width, by which the temperature rising speed of the light-emitting device LD due to energization becomes not more than a low speed setup value at or near the temperature saturation, to the light-emission driving circuit 80 at the time a setup time period before the adjustment lighting signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
