PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin transfer molding method capable of obtaining molded items with uniform thickness free from nonimpregnated parts and voids after hardening, in the resin transfer molding method of superposing a cope on a fibrous reinforcing material laid on a drag, then, injecting resin to inside of a cavity formed by the cope and drag and impregnating the resin into the fibrous reinforcing material while reducing the pressure inside the cavity, and then, hardening the resin. SOLUTION: Thermosetting imide oligomer resin which is matrix resin molten at 180°C or higher is injected to inside of the cavity at a speed of≥60 cc/min. and≤250 cc/min. until the resin is impregnated into the fibrous reinforcing material and resin injection pressure starts to increase.
