PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person who performs karaoke to easily select the song the person desires to sing along. SOLUTION: The karaoke machine comprises a means for storing face image data and song information for a candidate song as a set; a means for photographing a face to obtain the face image data; a means for reading song information, stored as a set with the received face image data; a means for displaying the read song information; a means for selecting a song to be sung; and a means for playing the selected song.
