A thrust bearing (1) for a suspension strut provided with a coil spring (R), the thrust bearing (1) comprising a rolling bearing (2) which comprises a lower washer (21) and an upper washer (22) between which rolling bodies (23) are placed, and a bearing component, comprising a support element (3) in contact with the lower washer (21), in order to transmit the forces exerted by the coil spring (R) to the lower washer (21), and a filtering element (6) made of elastomeric material that is interposed between the spring (R) and the support element (3). The filtering element (6) has a set of shapes (61) which are capable of mating with a set of complementary shapes (34) belonging to the support element (3) so as to allow the filtering element (6) and the support element (3) to be locked together by inter-engagement.
