<p>Belt of the type which uses links (1) joined directly and pivotably by means of dovetailed coupling means which allow for a certain swivel angle for the same, and have their male coupling means (3) shaped in such a way that therein sharp ridges (5) are defined to facilitate cleaning of the female coupling means (2) and at the same time define chambers (6) which also contribute to improving cleaning functions. Between links arched slots (8) are defined on the upper side and are closed by arched partitions (9), which allows the belt to be used for transporting bulk products without soiling the belt as chambers (8) are generated between the links and said chambers are continuously enclosed and are repressed when the links swivel in the contrary direction to the normal use of the belt, during the return phase thereof and with the assistance of deflector rollers. This achieves a self-cleaning effect which keeps the belt in optimal hygienic conditions.</p> |
