<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of appropriately detecting a defective pixel of an imaging element that receives luminous flux for observation. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1 includes a main body 2 in which a photographing lens is mounted removably; a main reflection plane 61 movable between a mirror-down position and a mirror-up position; an imaging element 7 which receives luminous flux for observation reflected on the main reflection plane 61 to produce an image signal; and a control means which captures an exposure image by means of the imaging element 7 in a case where it is determined that the main reflection plane 61 is present at the mirror-down position PD and the photographing lens is separated from the main body 2, and performs detection processing for detecting a defective pixel of the imaging element 7 on the basis of the relevant exposure image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
