<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that while similarity of nouns to be registered in a thesaurus is calculated on the basis of the appearance frequency of verbs+cases and nouns in the conventional manner, it is not possible to extract any related word depending on what type of relevancy is owned by mutual nouns. <P>SOLUTION: A related word extraction support device is provided with: a term similarity calculation means for calculating inter-term similarity from a term dictionary in which the indexes of terms and the meaning classification of the terms are stored, an n-ary relation dictionary in which inter-term n-ary relation is defined, and a corpus, and for storing it in a term similarity dictionary; and a related word candidate extraction means for extracting related word candidates on the basis of relevancy for object terms from the term dictionary, inter-term n-ary relation dictionary, and term similarity dictionary in which inter-term similarity is stored by the term similarity calculation means, and composed to extract related words under the consideration of the relevancy between the object terms and the related words. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
