<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate ionized air without being affected by humidity, in a cooling system using the ionized air. <P>SOLUTION: A high voltage is applied between a discharge electrode 1 and an opposite electrode 2 to cause electric discharge, and the ionized air is generated. An electric bulb 4 which is a portion to be cooled is cooled by the ionized air. A heat conductive portion 10 is provided between the electric bulb 4 and the discharge electrode 1, and the electric bulb 4 and the discharge electrode 1 are thermally connected. Heat from the electric bulb 4 is transmitted to the discharge electrode 1 through the heat conductive portion 10, and the discharge electrode 1 is heated. Even under an environment of high humidity, moisture does not adhere to the discharge electrode 1, and a stable electric discharge is caused. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
