<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation device and a program therefor, applicable to any objects and capable of shadowing with an extremely small calculation processing amount. <P>SOLUTION: The image generation device for generating a display image, in which an object disposed in a virtual three-dimensional space is converted through perspective projection, includes a modeling section 302 for disposing the object constituted of a plurality of parts; a reference point position calculation section 304 for calculating each position of one or more reference points preset on the surface or the inside of each part constituting the object; a projection point position calculation section 305 for calculating the projection point position to which the above reference point is projected on a predetermined shadow projection plane being set in the virtual three-dimensional space; a shadow modeling section 306 for disposing a shadow object representing a shadow on the calculated projection point; and a shadow deploying section for deploying a shadow texture on the shadow object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
