<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for a bicycle not requiring electric power cost by using a solar battery, eliminating excessive load to a pedal and capable of attaining comfortable and safe traveling. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system for the bicycle is provided with a case body for storing a solar battery device; and a light emission body comprising an optical medium for emitting the light by the solar battery device attached to a front side of the case body.
