<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide secondary optical system glass member for condensing photovoltaic power generator, which is capable of preventing the leakage of light in the main body part of a glass member to the outside thereof as much as possible by controlling the size, surface condition or the like of the part of beveled surface produced by beveling work at a corner between the bottom surface and the side surfaces of the secondary optical system glass member while being capable of remarkably improving a power generating efficiency when the secondary optical system glass member is employed for the condensing photovoltaic power generator. <P>SOLUTION: In the secondary optical system glass member 10, equipped with a main body part 11 having an upper surface 12, side surfaces 13 and a bottom surface 14 while beveling work is applied on the corner part C1 between the side surfaces 13 and the bottom surface 14, a chamfer 18 produced by the beveling work is formed in the vertical cross-sectional view so that a height H from the bottom surface 14 is not higher than 0.3 mm and a length L from the end 16 of bottom surface before working in the horizontal direction is in the range within 0.3 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
