PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splittable conjugate fiber for obtaining a fiber structure excelling in denseness and bulkiness. SOLUTION: In the splittable conjugate fiber including a polyamide resin composition and a fiber forming polymer with no compatibility with the polyamide resin composition bonded together in the longitudinal direction of fiber, the polyamide resin composition is composed of an aromatic polyamide and an aliphatic polyamide. Preferably, the aromatic polyamide is a nylon MXD6 polymer, and the aliphatic polyamide is a nylon 6 polymer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
