PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic-made member which is used as a structural member for the box structure of the wing or the empennage of an aeronautic or astronautic airplane and in which both of compressive strength after impact and visibility of damage can made compatible. SOLUTION: The carbon fiber-reinforced plastic-made member for the box structure of the wing or the empennage of the airplane comprises laminating at least two kinds of unidirectional materials [A], [B]. The unidirectional material [B] is layered on the inside surface of the box structure. The GIIc of the unidirectional material [B] is within 110-200% of that of the unidirectional material [A] and the tensile strength of the unidirectional material [B] is within 50-95% of that of the unidirectional material [A].
