PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a charcoal board which can be manufactured at a low cost by using glucomannan as a binder, and the surface of which is coated with a gas permeable sheet. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is composed by including a step of spreading a first fluorine resin plate 4 all over the base face of a mold 1, a step of spreading a vegetable nonwoven fabric 6 in piles all over the first fluorine resin plate 4, a step for making a charcoal molding material 3 flow into the mold 1 in which the first fluororesin plate 4 and the vegetable nonwoven fabric 6 are spreaded, a step of spreading a second fluoro-resin plate 5 all over the surface of a charcoal molding material 3 slashed into the mold 1, a step of pressure-molding the charcoal molding material 3 covered with a lid 2, a step of ejecting a charcoal board semi-product from the mold 1 and a step of dry-solidifying the charcoal board semi-product taken out of the mold 1. The charcoal molding material is the one obtained through a blending step for blending a powdery, granulated charcoal or charcoal obtained by blending them with a small amount of the glucomannan powder by adding water.
