PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide volumetric type Compton scattered X-ray depth visualization, imaging and an information provider. SOLUTION: One aspect relates to capturing one or a plurality of tomographic types of Compton scattering based visualization, imaging or provided information on at least some matter of at least a portion of an individual based at least partially on the Compton scattering of at least one X-ray applied to the at least some matter of the at least the portion of the individual. Another aspect relates to deriving of at least one material characteristic distribution function substantially matching at least some data obtained at least partially from scattering of at least one applied X-ray forming at least one Compton scattered X-ray inside the at least part of the matter of the at least part of the individual.
