PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device wherein an xenon lamp can be easily fixed to a lamp holder by a user during work to install the xenon lamp to a light source, and the xenon lamp can be prevented from coming off from the lamp holder by vibration caused by an earthquake. SOLUTION: In this light source device composed of reflectors 3, 4, a first lamp support 5 to support one side of a lamp 2 and a second lamp support 6 to support the other side of the lamp 6 both of which are disposed so as to hold the reflectors 3, 4 between them, the second lamp support 6 is equipped with the lamp holder, a bulb, a rod-shaped body formed integrally with or separately from the lamp holder while passing through the bulb, and a wheel to rotationally hold the bulb, the lamp holder is integrally and threadedly connected to the bulb through the rod-shaped body, and a rotation regulating body to regulate the rotation of the lamp holder is provided.
